What a very busy week - 2 coaching tips enclosed
My week was most certainly busy. Of course, only 4 levels of my life, even came to the surface all week: Class (I'm in a crash medical class), work, study, and last, sleep ! What ever time was left !
Not much else entered my life this week ! I did have a little free time Tuesday night, so I went over to dinner at the Moose. And I did make it to the post office this ! That's about it !
Sleep ... One of the most important things we need, and it can often come last. But of course, as a single, with the responsibility of everything in your life, you too, know it to be true, that this can often be last on the list !
Also, eating right ! Where my class is, there is basically only fast food joints. So for 3 weeks, I have eat junk. I can only imagine how much weight I have put on. Sure, I could fix something for lunch. But then that would mean, taking time to go to the store, and plan this. That time doesn't seem to fit lately !
It's now the weekend. I was so tired last night, I was in bed by 10:30. I'm a late night person (12-1-2am). Not these last 3 weeks ! Instead, I have been going to bed early, and often getting up by 3 or 4 am to study !
By choice, I decided to stay in bed till 7:30am this morning. Not only felt that I deserved it, after getting an A on my skills test yesterday, but knew I need it. That' 9 hours. Now, hopefully I can get a lot done this weekend, without dragging !
Know, that I'm a fairly organized person. I divide tasks over, days of the week, and weekends of the month. For me, this is, not only the way to get everything done, but it allows me to divide it up, instead of having it on ONE HUGH LONG LIST ! (TIP 1) LONG LIST can often cause folks to run from themselves ! It is best to divide tasks up !
So, this weekend, on my schedule is balancing check books, and change the air filter in heat/air system ! I have already balanced the check books ! The air filter, I have to go to the basement. That's not something I usually do when it's dark outside, nor 1st thing in the morning (when my coordination is not quite in place !).
There were a few things, that I did not get done on schedule this week ! Basically cause it was better than I choose to complete the tasks that were heavier at hand. Like studying !
One thing I didn't get around to, was write on my Coaching Blog, so I have already done that this morning. Also need to wash the dishes, that I did not do, on my daily routine of Thursday !
My biggest project for weekend ... I've got to get in 15 hours, towards renewing my hypnosis certification ! It's due April 1. See how I plan early ? You have to, whether you are single, or anyone ! At least I do. If I do not, something will always get in the way, to stop me from things that must be done. KNOW, I am not a procrastinator, "unless" it is something, I have yet to figure out the answer ! (TIP 2) If you are a procrastinator, set priority to get this resolved NOW ! Break the habit !
I've yet to look the rest of my list for the weekend. I usually do this the night prior, which is very important for someone who wants to "begin on schedule" ! But, I decided to watch TV last night; not that anything was on !
Tonight, I meet with my class reunion for dinner. Yes, I organize this too ! About 10-18 of us meet each month for dinner. It gets me out of the house, from working 24/7. Sometimes, it is worth being the organizer of things: #1, it's in your hands and your choices, and #2, it gets you out of the house !
So what did you do in or with your single life this week ?
