I will not be writing in this blog next week.  I am traveling single (on a cruise in Canada).

 

The fun in being single and Travel ?

Like many other things done single, it’s great !

Making your own decisions.

Do everything that only you want to do !

Don’t doing something you don’t want to do, just for another.

Open yourself to making new friends.

Get up when you want; or don’t get up at all that day.

Eat when you want and where you want, and not what you don’t want.

Being single has lots of advantages !  For You !

 

 

 

What does it mean to you to be single ? And best place for singles to travel alone !

Take a moment and think about those words for a moment … What does it mean to you to be single !

It could mean:

Loneliness to some  … Happiness to others !

Nothing to do, for some … Busy for others !

No one to talk, for some …. Lots of friends for others !

 

Here's my definition of single:  I can come and go when I want; eat when I want; watch the TV show I want; go to bed and get up when I want; go to an event along and leave alone if I want and when I want.

I'm a big time traveler.  I use to take land packages on my own.  Very dangerous.  My mother talked me into my 1st cruise at age 26 (I'm almost 54); I've now been on 115+ cruises.  My mothers philosophy was:  I would prefer you go on cruises, so you are NOT alone, but you can be as alone as you want !  PERFECT PIECE OF THE PIE FOR ME ... Cruises !

 

In the definition, under Google, it says:

Single, as a noun, means “An individual person or thing rather than part of a pair or a group”.

 

No where does it say, that “Singles” are to be lonely, bored, with no one to talk to.  So if you are any of these three things, this is either your definition, or the definition you are allowing to rule you ... Restrict you !

Choose to CHANGE IT !  Get out … Go places … Join clubs !  You don’t have to be with just Singles !
